This is to inform the general public and all candidates that sat for the 2018/2019 that the board of JAMB is fully aware that about 20 to 25 percent are still in Senior Secondary (SS2) but their parent registered them for this 2018/2019 JAMB as a trial of which some of them will never go back to complete their Senior Secondary 3 (SS3) class if they be any reason pass the JAMB.
According to the JAMB registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede. he said that most parent are the reason why Examination Malpractices is the one of the major problem JAMB Board is facing every time. This is so because most parent go to the extent of bribing Examination supervisors and any one around during the JAMB examination to enable their children pass their Examination in unfair ways and this will at end destroy the ability of their child believing in themselves and studying hard even when they get admitted into the University.
JAMB registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede also disclosed that record bears it that about 1,840,225 candidates sat for the examination but only but 800,000 where able to meet up with the minimum O’Level requirement. Which is a five (5) Credits in their O’Level Results.
